I guess this will resemble more Baby Blue than Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo, but that's still pretty good.

I submitted the error report on the two Kodamas earlier in the day after the article was posted today (which has already been resolved), so they likely have not gotten around to changing the article link yet (or it may have been overlooked). |

It's not wrong it's just kinda dumb. As you yourself admit, there were a ton of reasons right off the bat to not get your hopes up too high for Guilty Crown. So obviously there is nothing vaguely valid about telling people not to get their hopes up here just because Guilty Crown sucked. |

Considering that wasn't the point of my original statement...perhaps you should re-read what I wrote before jumping the gun so much? I only said another poster's comment had a "fair point" because there are, in fact, a few reasons why people would benefit from being prudent. I think the sentiment itself is sound. Particularly when I also explained what that meant and none of my arguments had to do with Guilty Crown. If anything, I pretty much suggested that line of thought wasn't even the important part. Apparently you were assuming I literally agreed with everything written or implied in Eternal September's post, but such a conclusion is quite misleading if not -to use your own terms- rather dumb. |

No matter how good the cast is, they still have to work with rather plain source material. I can't get my expectations high with this. I'm expecting a merely okay anime.

An anime based around jazz music...
... ... you have my undivided attention. |

Okay, whatever. He said we shouldn't get our hopes up because of Guilty Crown. You said that was a fair point. Since you in no way specified that you only meant in in a convoluted "I agree with the sentiment but not your actual argument" way, the clear implication of that is that you agree with him. Obviously that's what people are going to reasonably assume. |

I disagree. But for the sake of not dragging this along any further, I'm afraid I'll have to let the general public, so to speak, be the judge of that.

Could care less about Kanno.
Watanabe directing a manga adaptation will be interesting to see, though. |

Good to see Masao Maruyama (ex founder of Madhouse) new studio MAPPA up and running. Hope we'll get to hear of Yume-Miru Kikai, Satoshi Kon's final film soon.
