I got rather excited after reading this news announcement, since I've been waiting for something like this as a Nook user for a while. However, I think all my excitement has been sobered. I'm a user of the My NOOK Wi-Fi edition - the original, first Nook. I don't really have the option to upgrade, since my parents would kill me if I bought another electronic gadget right now. Is there no way to force these books to load on the older edition? I've read Nook Color formatted books before on it, and though they looked funny and cut off the ends of the pages, they still worked. Is that no longer an option?
