If one looks up any used video markets, they WILL find porn on Betamax, contrary to popular belief. It'll make its way onto any video medium. No exceptions. Elevens' fear of reverse importation: Why the hell would anyone want to pay MORE for Blu-Ray discs when they can get the American ones for cheaper, especially if Japan and America are in the same Blu-Ray region? As long as they buy the discs, aren't the original creators of the work still getting the money? |

For best overall sound track Rahxephon wins hands down. Why? Volume, variety and quality. Three CD's worth of a mixture of large orchestral classical music ranging from bold and brassy to sinister and subdued strings. synth that wouldn't be out of place in Silent Hill to warm jazz out of a southern bar. As well as the OP, ED and incidental pop music. They even slip in ... what ever 'Flying Fighter' and 'Mad Wing' are supposed to be. Metal, fusion jazz, chimps let lose in a orchestra stall?
Honourable mention goes to the Macross Franchise. All provide songs that have me humming them for a few days. Even the backround music from frontier has a nice nautical vibe that has me imagining the cast running round with cutlasses and parrots. |
