I think that if you find the cross dressing to be creepy, you might want to loosen up a bit. It's not that serious. I could understand if you didn't find it funny.

There are much more creepy examples of cross dressing. Silence of the Lambs, anyone?

Gender expectation humor in anime and manga is definitely a "your mileage will vary" thing. Personally, I think the Ayumu's Masou Shojo transformations are hilarious, but I'm also a big fan of Ranma 1/2! Very Happy

What? Funi hasn't even put out the first season yet. Until the sales are in I doubt Funi will do anything with a second season, as usual.

They also sometimes make anime harder to bear.

It appears it is set for physical release on 05/21/2011, so they should have a good idea of sales before the second season ends.

They also have the subtitled version of the first series available for streaming now (with only the OVA restricted to Elite members), and probably also have some idea on how it performed at CR from information provided by Kadokawa.

It also remains to be seen whether the second series will be simulcast by CR, Funico, or both.

I think you mean light novel vs. the anime, since the source material IS a light novel, there are two (or three) manga adaptions, which I kinda dislike because they go for the loli looks (and they shrink Seraphim's attributes >_<those>_>).
