Million Arthur: Arcana Blood Arcade Game Gets PC Release (Updated)

Square Enix announced during a livestream for the EVO Japan 2019 event on Friday that it will release the 2D fighting game Million Arthur: Arcana Blood for PC via Steam this summer.

Square Enix began streaming a gameplay video for the release on Saturday.
The original arcade version launched in Japan in November 2017, and a PlayStation 4 version debuted in Japan in November 2018. The PS4 version featured the same playable characters as the arcade game, along with the addition of Yamaneko Arthur, "spirit world type" Koume Sakiyama from Lord of Vermilion IV, and "spirit world type" Iori Yagami from King of Fighters XIV.
Square Enix released its first mobile card game based on the folklore of King Arthur in Japan in 2012 as Kaku San Sei Million Arthur. South Korean publisher Gamevil brought the game to North America and Europe in 2015, after Square Enix closed the game's Japanese servers in March 2015.
The game inspired a live-action TV show in 2014, and it has also inspired the Jaku-San-Sei Million Arthur four-panel manga. Square Enix also released a sequel game, titled Kai-Ri-Sei Million Arthur, in Japan in November 2014.
An anime adaptation of the manga started streaming in fall 2015.
The separate Operation Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur (Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur) massively multi-player online role-playing game is inspiring a television anime that premiered in October and will have a second season this April.
