Seven Seas Entertainment Licenses Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O. Manga

Sequel series launched in May

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Friday that it has licensed Nozomu Tamaki's Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O. manga. The company will release the first compiled book volume of the manga physically and digitally on October 8.

The series is a sequel to Tamaki's Dance in the Vampire Bund manga and a continuation of the story from Dance in the Vampire Bund II: Scarlet Order. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga:

Several years after the release of the final volume of Dance in the Vampire Bund II: Scarlet Order, the hit supernatural tale is back with an all-new series. Age of Scarlet Order, abbreviated as A.S.O., follows the continuing adventures of Mina Tepes, the revolutionary queen of the vampires. Along with her faithful werewolf bodyguard Akira, Mina will not rest until vampires and humans can coexist in peace--even when certain factions of the world want her dead. This series is an exciting new chapter of the supernatural action/drama manga that has been a staple in the Seven Seas line-up for a decade.

Additionally, Seven Seas Entertainment announced that it will re-release the original Dance in the Vampire Bund manga digitally in 2019.

Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O. launched in TO Books' web manga magazine Comic Corona in May 2018, and the publisher released the first compiled book volume on December 1.

The first Dance in the Vampire Bund manga series ran in Kadokawa's Comic Flapper from 2005 to 2012. The sequel Dance in the Vampire Bund II: Scarlet Order ran in the same magazine from 2013 to 2015. Seven Seas Entertainment published both series in North America.

Seven Seas Entertainment also released Tamaki's Dance in the Vampire Bund: The Memories of Sledge Hammer mini-series, the spinoff manga Dive in the Vampire Bund, and two dōjinshi collections: Dance in the Vampire Bund: Forgotten Tales and Dance in the Vampire Bund: Secret Chronicles.
