Fuji TV Launches Boys-Love Anime Film Label

"Blue Lynx" posts story by Run with the Wind's Shion Miura, Yōko Tanji before unveiling 1st film

Fuji TV announced on Tuesday that it has founded a new anime label named "Blue Lynx" that will focus on boys-love anime. The label will announce its first anime film, an adaptation of a boys-love manga, on Friday, April 26.

In addition, novelist Shion Miura (The Great Passage, Run with the Wind) and artist Yōko Tanji (Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Nankyoku Kachi Kochi Daibōken image boards) are collaborating on a "illustration short story" titled "Gekkō wa Kimi no Sasayaki" (The Moonlight is Your Whisper). The short story will consist of four illustrations that will appear on the label's website in the countdown to the announcement on Saturday.

Miura's The Great Passage novel has inspired both a live-action film and a television anime, and Run with the Wind recently inspired a television anime. Miura has also written the Shumi Janainda (It's Not Just a Hobby) essay book centering on boys-love stories and literature. The book includes an original boys-love story titled "Natsu no Omoide" (Memories of Summer).
