Dragon Star Varnir Game's Steam Release Delayed to October

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Idea Factory International announced on Monday that its PC via Steam release of Compile Heart's Dragon Star Varnir (Ryūsei no Varnir) game has been delayed from September to October. The delay will allow staff to continue to improve optimization.

The Steam version of the game will include all gameplay and art content from the original Japanese version of the game. The game will support English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles.

Idea Factory International released the game for the PlayStation 4 in North America on June 11, and in Europe on June 14.

The game shipped in Japan last October.

The game has multiple character designers, who each designed a different character. Compile Heart president Norihisa Kochiwa is credited as the game's producer. Makoto Kitano (Moero Chronicle) directed the game. Falcom is credited for "dragon cooperation." Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of Zestiria, Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean) composed the game's main theme and battle music. Toshiaki Takayama (Dragon Drive, Valkyria Revolution) is credited for "giant dragon design."
