K: Seven Stories Anime's 6th Film Gets Manga

The official Twitter account for Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge magazine revealed on Monday that Yasuyuki Torikai will publish a new manga spinoff of GoRA and GoHands' K franchise titled Epigraph in the magazine's October issue on September 17. The manga will be based on Yashichiro Takahashi's original story for K: Seven Stories "Circle Vision ~Nameless Song~", the sixth film in the K: Seven Stories film series. The announcement did not specify if the manga will be a one-shot or a serialization.
Torikai previously drew Aiseki, another manga adaptation of one of the stories from K: Seven Stories.
Viz Media licensed the six-part film project. Viz's license for the K franchise also includes digital streaming, EST, home video, and merchandising rights for both anime television series and the K: Missing Kings film. Viz Media screened both K: Seven Stories "Memory of Red ~BURN~" and K: Seven Stories "Circle Vision ~Nameless Song~" at Anime NYC last November. The six-film project debuted between July and December in Japan last year.
K: Memory of Red is a title of a manga in the franchise, and K SIDE:BLUE, K:SIDE:GREEN, and K: R:B are titles of novels in the franchise. K―Lost Small World― is both a novel and a manga. Idol K is a parody book that reimagines if the characters in the franchise were all idols. The sixth film tells a new story.
