Princess Resurrection's Mitsunaga Ends Tama Kick Manga

posted on by Alex Mateo
'Erotic comedy' manga launched in June 2017

Author Yasunori Mitsunaga and artist Inomaru's Tama Kick (Kick to the Balls) manga ended in this year's December issue of Shonengahosha's Young King Ours GH magazine on Wednesday. The fifth and final compiled book volume will ship on December 16.

Mitsunaga and Inomaru launched the manga in Young King Ours GH in June 2017. The "erotic comedy" manga centers on Ayane Kurozumi, a beautiful detective who has legs that can take anything down. She takes various jobs so long as she gets proper monetary compensation.

Mitsunaga and Inomaru will launch a new manga titled Isekai Sniper wa Onna Senshi no Mofumofu Pet (The Fantasy World Sniper is the Fluffy Pet of the Woman Warrior) in Young King Ours GH magazine's January issue on November 15. Mitsunaga is also irregularly serializing his Hitsugi Tantei D&W manga, which launched in Young King Ours GH in 2011, although the latest volume shipped in 2014. Mitsunaga launched the Jikan Teishi Yūsha (Time Stop Hero) manga on September 26.

Mitsunaga's Princess Resurrection manga ran in Monthly Shonen Sirius from 2005 to 2013. Kodansha published 20 compiled book volumes for the series. The manga inspired a television anime adaptation and a three-episode OVA. Sentai Filmworks re-released the television anime version of Princess Resurrection with an English dub on DVD in 2012. JManga released the first seven volumes on its website before closing in 2013. Kodansha Advanced Media re-released all 20 volumes of the manga digitally.

Mitsunaga launched the Princess Resurrection Nightmare manga in Monthly Shonen Sirius in November 2017, and Kodansha published the manga's fifth volume on August 8. Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga digitally, and it released the fourth volume on July 30.
