07th Expansion Reveals New Umineko When They Cry Game for PS4, Switch

Publisher Entergram and doujin game circle 07th Expansion revealed that the Umineko - When They Cry game series is getting a new PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch game titled Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku: Nekobako to Musō no Kōkyōkyoku (Umineko - When They Cry: Symphony of Catboxes and Dreams). The companies launched a teaser website for the game.

Daisuke Ono is voicing Battler Ushiromiya, and Sayaka Ōhara is voicing Beatrice. Rico Sasaki is performing the opening theme song "Kasaneawase no Nekobako" (Nesting Catboxes), which will ship on her album Curtain Call on November 20. Chiyomaru Shikura wrote the lyrics and composed the song.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku (Umineko All in One Package), the game series' most recent installment, launched on October 4. The release is a compilation disc of all previous Umineko games plus a new scenario. The included games are Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru, Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa, and Umineko no Naku Koro ni Hane. Ryukishi07 is credited with the original designs and scenario.
