Mobile Suit Gundam UC Bande Dessinée Manga Ends

The February 2017 issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Gundam Ace magazine published the final chapter of Kouzo Oomori's Mobile Suit Gundam UC Bande Dessinée manga on Monday. The 17th and final compiled volume will ship on February 26, 2017.
The magazine thanked the manga's readers and asked everyone to await Oomori's next work.
Oomori began the manga in Monthly Gundam Ace in 2010. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko was credited with the original character designs and Hajime Katoki was credited with mechanical design. The manga was based on Harutoshi Fukui's Mobile Suit Gundam UC, which launched in 2007 and ended its main story in 2009 with the 10th volume. An 11th volume shipped on March 23.
The novels also inspired an original video anime (OVA) series with theatrical screenings. The OVAs were later remixed into the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 television anime.
