Considering how many of other spinoffs have been published overseas (Jr. High, Before the Fall, A Choice with No Regrets, The Harsh Mistress of the City), I'm more surprised that it took Lost Girls so long to be announced over here!

I'm not: the first volume hasn't even been published in Japan yet!

that wont be the case in this scenario. for one thing the spinoff manga is primarily focused on the two most popular female characters in the entire series.especially for mikasa's take. highly sure their not gonna go the live action route with this manga. though one thing for sure, it will be ten times better than the atrocity that is junior high school.
