This is gonna suck. None of the staff that made FLCL what it was is working on this and the last anime that Cartoon Network co-produced (The Big O S2) was a huge disappointment and I have no faith in Production I.G. nowadays but worst of all what the hell is it even going to be about? he original ended perfectly and there's literally nothing to follow it up with.

Nostalgia mining is a thing, sure, but this didn't need to be retouched. Oh boy, this kid sure is coming of age, again, and look, there's a penis. Classic.

Just because you could doesn't mean you should.

The entire point of FLCL is growing up and moving on (actually not growing up too soon, artificially, and allowing life to take its course, but it still means moving on), so of course we need to have sequels, right?

Hey, how about a Cowboy Bebop sequel where Spike spoiler[just gets up from the stairs, dusts himself off, and has some bell peppers and beef?]

Are you sure you mean Miracle? if we take Dimension W as the example of a toonami co-produced work, no one is going to be happy in the long run.

I'm both delighted and pissed off at this.
I'm delighted because MORE FLCL!! Oh and also..... IT'S FROM THE GLORIOUS PRODUCTION I.G.!!
I'm pissed off because..... I would rather a 12 episode reboot......

They're saving that for next year's huge announcement.

Funimation co-produced it but it still stands. There's nothing to be hyped about this unless you're a slave to nostalgia.

As long as it's set to a Yoko Kanno soundtrack, I'd watch it.

I don't know that I'm super excited about it but I at least want to hear what they're intending to do with it.

12 seems a bit much considering the original was just fine with 6.

Original series was lightning in a bottle. Without Kazuya Tsurumaki... no clue how this'll turn out.

I'll give it a shot, but it's not exactly a series that needs more episodes.
