Fantastic news! MB is making a lot of moves that are making me happy! The Ladies vs Butlers bluray quality and dub was fantastic and I'm super excited for the upcoming Rio and Juden blurays/dub. Really glad to hear that yet another anime will get a dub by them and the short teaser sounds great! Hopefully this series gets confirmed for bluray soon but since its a 2015 anime I can't see them releasing it DVD only. Regardless super excited and keep up the dubs/blurays Media Blasters!

To be fair it's a short anime most never see the light of day on disc. It wasn't bad not sure I'd need to see it again though. |

I'm weary of releases from Media Blasters. I purchased their release of Yosuga No Sora and was very disappointed in the quality of the dvds

I wonder if they'll release both the censored and uncensored episodes. In some cases, they're practically two different things: as the story starts to get a little racy, the censored version will flip over into a total non sequitur done with hand puppets for like 2 or 3 minutes.
And honestly, this is the kind of anime that I worry could actually be found to be literally obscene (as in, against the law) in some parts of the USA. To wit, this is a show where the title character basically spoiler[gets a handjob for her 16th birthday present.] |

I've been thinking about that recently. Not this anime in particular, but some anime that has been released in the US. With the strict American child porn laws, there have been several anime I can think of that contain nudity of girls that are technically 16 or under. I haven't really done research into how animation is considered under these laws, but with increasing surveillance and monitoring, I wonder if someone will one day be arrested and put on the sex offender list for owning a non-hentai anime that just so happens to show a teenage girl's breasts. |

Put it this way guys. Australia is infamous for its awful classification system, but High School DxD got away with an MA15+ rating. Granted DxD's ecchi moments are bogged down by awful super serious story arcs but the content is still quite intense.
As far as I know, no ecchi series has been banned here. Some of them have gotten slapped with R18+ ratings (Which is weird for a show in a genre usually aimed at horny teenagers) but none of them have been outright banned. That being said Ikkitousen and DxD got banned in New Zealand for sexualising minors. DxD specifically for making high school girls seem like viable sexual partners. |

I'm also curious if there will be censoring. Because that's part of the selling point of the series.
As for the Teaser from MB's Twitter, I'm not fond of the casting. Sounded too loud and adult for these characters. |

The voices sound a bit too adult, but I think that will be fixed when the show's done.

An interesting choice for Media Blasters of course it's not like they never licensed obscene shows before, Kanokon anyone? I might give it a try though if it's released on Blu-Ray.

Well, I don't mind the voices of the characters too much. They do sound a little old, but not enough to bother me.
As for this being released at all on disc, I'm kinda happy. While it has its ecchi scenes, there were also some sweet moments between the main characters. So much so that I would actually like to own this. But not on a DVD-R...which would mean that it'd have to be a BD release from Media Blasters. Doubt that this will be sub-licensed in Australia, so MB will be my only option. |

if that ends up be the case i really cant see this being on the MB label if its completely unedited. its a best bet that it will get the Aki Sora treatment and be under the Kitty Media label. |
