Excellent. Despite the unimpressive animation I was really enjoying the story and the manga is years behind.

Considering that Gundam: IBO is coming back in October already and the Seven Deadly Sins mini series will apparently interrupt this for a month, it looks like this second season of Arslan will only be 9 episodes long at most, which is quite disappointing. I wish they'd move it to a midnight timeslot like they did with Haikyuu!, because then we could get another 24-25 episodes that would take us to the end of the novels's first phase.

Wait how do you know if its 9 ep? 9eps is a very odd number for a series. I mean i guess its plausible, but are you like 100% sure?

It's been announced that this will be 5 episodes. It airs in the same time-slot as the new mini Nanatsu no Taizai anime.

NO. REJECTED! The action series ALWAYS requires at least one manly and muscular-stud character to please the the opposite of the audience the series is intended for.

I remember HunterxHunter and Saikin changing timeslots mid-airing, so it isn't like that never happened before.

Now that would be a good compromise, switching Arslan to a midnight timeslot after the first five episodes of the second season. Buf if Ana's information is correct, I wonder what will fill the Nichigo timeslot in September.

Been waiting for this. Can't wait for more.
Wonder how they are going to air this since I don't think there's any way they'll only air like 5 episodes.
Edit: Yeah, maybe it'll change time slots.
