This is unexpected for me. I loved Hyouka and still hold out hope the anime will see a stateside release one day. Until then I'll be keeping a close eye on this adaptation!

This news is so good. Turns out those news stories about this live-action adaption were true and i'm pretty excited for it. The anime and novels are so good. I really hope someone has the time to make subtitles for this when it comes out.

I'm pretty sure they will make subs for this. I mean, Hyouka is one of KyoAni's masterpieces, and everyone loves KyoAni. KYOANI FINDS A WAY |

If this is happening, I hope they film a bunch of scenes where Houtarou just sits and talks on the phone like he does.
"Humm..." "Hum?" "... Humm." I mean, the whole movie could be just that. I'm sold. |

I saw this on my phone so as I was scrolling down I thought there finally a liscencing announcement...*sighs*
I can see this series working as a live action flick, doubt I'll watch it but I hope it turns out well. |
