That's amazing! Congratulations. Can't wait to get this and hear the dub. Wasn't sure if I wanted to pledge at first, even with my good experience with the Time of Eve campaign. After seeing a few episodes on Crunchyroll, however, I came to really enjoy the show.

I did the same thing. After watching the first two episodes on crunchyroll I binged the rest of it in three days. I could not believe this show was never released even with a dub stipulation and it being shoujo. It is one of my favorite shows now. I can't wait to rewatch it with this great english cast & for my autograph poster to arrive.

So happy the Blu-Ray stretch goal was met. I've seen quite a few people who said they wouldn't even think of buying it without a Blu-Ray release, so this should help the sales a lot. Plus it will be cool to see a Blu-Ray version of the series.

I'm still over the moon that the campaign was so successful. Skip Beat! is one of my favorite series of all time, so I look forward to owning it on DVD and having an English dub to enjoy. Smile Hopefully the success will mean good things for shojo titles in general too.

For awhile there it was looking like it wouldn't get funded at all, so I'm suprised it met the Blu Ray goal. But that means I'm going to put money down on it too.

Considering how much of a failure the Indiegogo campaign was, this turnaround with the Kickstarter campaign is huge. Although the fact that it wasn't on Kickstarter stopped people from pledging originally.

Ya gotta go where people are, instead of making people go to ya

Seems like only a couple people sign up to the new $80 Bluray tier

Hooray for new backers and SB fans!

Up to 14 $80 backers. I suspect, though, there will be more people who add on the $80 Blu-ray only option than pledge that alone. Some people wanted additional copies as gifts, but want their copy to have the artbox. The $80 tier is only the plastic Amaray case.

Wow. Did NOT expect it to reach the stretch goal. Good work Pied Piper!

Never commented originally, but Carbaros has been doing a lot lately. I only know her from a few shows, but she has quite the range.

I'll admit that Skip Beat wasn't even on my radar until recently, but the cast announcements lately have me very optimistic.

Wow. I didn't think it'd make its goal so fast, let alone the stretch goal. Doesn't the campaign end today? I was so sure it would fail, since Escaflowne's Kickstarter was going on at the same time.

Ends tomorrow. And I hope they receive more pledges. While the numbers weren't given, Pied Piper paid a lot out of pocket to finish up Time of Eve even after receiving well beyond the requested funds.

It's a "single-walled jacket for Amaray", not an artbox.

Congratulations for the Kickstarter reaching the Blu-Ray goal! Smile Watching Skip Beat in HD is, personally, a fine bonus to its English version.

There's still time for the last burst from procrastinators and various fence-sitters, characteristic of every crowdfunding campaign I've ever followed, which happens in the last 24 hours. (Nothing wrong with procrastinating or fence-sitting--crowdfunding campaigns don't care when you back a project. It's all the same in the end.)

I certainly did not expect it to reach the Blu-Ray goal, though I did expect it to reach its regular goal. This is one of the biggest second winds I've ever seen in crowdfunding.

I originally pledged in order to help reach the goal but once it passed its goal, I cancelled my pledge.

Now to wait a few months for Rightstuf, to release the series at a fraction of what the tiers were priced.
