The central characters are already voiced by A-listers, so they're probably just looking for stuff like mob characters.

That's chump change compared to union original animation. Wish seiyuu companies were unionized.

Maybe there will be a random character that speaks little English? Good pay for that.

They are unionized... The price here are for people who are off the street so you have to take that into account.

No they're not. Most industries in Japan are not unionized due to anti-union laws.

Keep in mind that all but the A-list Seiyuu maybe record a few days a week, if that. And they can go weeks in between recording days. Even the big names supplement income via promotional stuff or music/idol work.

$275 USD a day doesn't sound like too much when you're working 16 hour weeks, and you don't know if you're booked the week after.

As a foriegner Unless you have an "entertainment" work visa or special permission to engage in that category of work keep in mind it's probably illegal to do it for compensation.
And illegal for them not to check as well.

Is it possible to email the auditions etc? Also how do I do this? I'm kinda new to forums and this website. A good friend of mine linked me to this website when she saw the voice-over job part and knowing me, she thought I'd be interested, since I am a aspiring voice actor (my dream job).

If someone can help me, I'd be forever greatful. Smile
