They're self publishing this game, which gives me hope for more .hack in the future, now that they don't need Namco

Clearly, they're making a Spider-Man game.

(That being said, I think a Spider-Man game using NUNS gameplay can work very well.)

Dot Hack is a joint IP they own together Namdai so unless they make a bootleg version, they technically can't develop a new Dot Hack and not have Namdai involved.

All I've wanted out of CC2 for a long time now has been a rerelease of the .hack games in some form. Whether its totally untouched and just thrown on PSN as a PS2 classic, or a full scale HD upgrade it doesn't matter - I just want it
