Will we ever get a Yotsuba&! anime? I read it for the first time as a kid and we still don't have an anime now that I'm an adult. It sucks because Azumanga Daioh had a fantastic adaptation and I feel like Yotsuba would work similarly well.

Yotsuba&! is one of my favorite series and I would love to see an adaptation. Unfortunately we'll probably never get one, as creator Kiyohiku Azuma has said the writing style is difficult to adapt into anime.

Sad but true. Yotsuba seems to have much Manga-Only humor that wouldn't adapt well.
OnTopic though, awesome that they won an award.. Anime smile

Mr. Azuma stated that there would likely never be an anime because he doesn't feel that it makes good anime material. I actually respect his decision, but I understand your opinion.

I wish we'd get Machida-kun over here. It sounds so good.
