Happy to see I Am a Hero do that well; I am confused why Dark Horse has the releases spaced out between 6 months. I can't see the series being able to hold people's interest with such a schedule.

I'm somewhat baffled about the Devil is a Part-Timer manga volume 5 making it in the list, considering this is its third week and it never placed before. I would have assumed they meant light novel volume 4, but there aren't any common signs of a simple accidental swap...

Does anyone know if there's any way to see what other manga ranked after the top 10??
I just wanna see how good or bad Yowamushi pedal's omnibus release is selling, it has never ranked in the top 10 releases and that just saddens me :/ |

perroloco, the NYT Best Seller list is kind of a mystery: no one (except whoever compiles it, I suppose) seems to know how many units sold it represents, or even what its method for collecting sales info from retailers is. So it may or may not be an accurate record of what are truly the best-selling manga in the US (although if a title or volume shows up repeatedly, that gives a little more assurance that it's got good sales).
ICV2 shares the monthly Bookscan reports for graphic novels (top 20 books, includes western comics and manga, doesn't show # sold but seems a bit more reliable), and from what I saw, manga representation on those charts lately is limited to multiple volumes of Tokyo Ghoul, One Punch Man, and Attack on Titan (with the occasional Naruto novel or Monster Musume). This writer at ComicBookResources does a pretty great report on the yearly Bookscan records for comics/manga/graphic novels, and links to the top 750 chart (with approximate sales #s, though even Bookscan isn't a perfect record of every book sold everywhere), but since Yowamushi Pedal 1 only came out in December, it didn't make it onto the 2015 chart. Maybe next year! |

Could it be because it is an omnibus release? Wouldn't be surprised if that is the reason. |

Iys thanks for the answer, I mean at least volumen 4 is scheduled to be released con december so I guess it must be selling ok, or they might have cancelled it already..

Yen Press isn't a publisher known for canceling series, you shouldn't need to worry about that! :) (really, most publishers are more cautious now than a few years ago with the titles they pick up, and only start what they intend to finish.)
