Trunks returns from a dark, disturbing future nightmarescape where denim comes back into fashion! Truly this is the worst of all futures.

Sounds like Dragon Ball Super is starting to get interesting and yet Toei still won't stream Super outside of Japan what are they waiting for do they want fans to throw money at them or something.

Toei probably wants an absurd amount of money, and no one is willing to pay, especially when the early part of the series was just the movies redone as TV arcs. Not to mention all the rough, shitty art and animation. Funimation is probably waiting until they release the Buu Kai arc on both blu ray and Toonami before they bother with Super, and they'll likely want the blu ray masters for Super before any deal is made. No other American company is going to even try to take Super out from under Funimation, so they can take their time. |

Yeah, it can be figured the reason Super is being kept away from U.S. audiences is all business.
Anyway, this is an interesting turn of events, to say the least. Goku Black...so in other words...DA BLACK GOKU?! TEE HEE. Keep it up, Toriyama. |

well as trunks come from an alternate timeline and not a different universe i doubt it would be a Goku from a different universe besides there is no proof that each universe has an alternate version of a character from DBZ so far they all seem to be unique individuals, if Universe 6 had a Goku then wouldn't at least Kabba/Cabba have known who who he was because he wouldn't have been sent to earth if the Saiyans still lived on their original home world and was a peaceful race? the only reason Bardock and Gine sent Goku to earth was for protection against Freeza/Frieza and as he doesn't exist in Universe 6 (because it's Frost instead and he while still as evil does things VERY differently) besides a multiverse and a Universe are two separate things each Universe would have it's own timeline and Trunks timeline is still part of Universe 7 completely separate from from the other Universes i think it's more likely that "Goku Black" is perhaps a resurrected Goku from Future Trunks timeline (the Black in the name could imply he is a evil version) maybe under the control of someone ALA like in how Demigra controlled people in Dragon Ball XenoVerse or perhaps he could be a Cyborg made by Gerolike #17 and #18 are (wouldn't that be the ultimate victory for him, turn Goku into the VERY thing he originally designed to destroy him) thing is those are just ideas as to what or who Goku Black is, guess we will just have to wait until more info is released about it wont we |
