The show has been fairly cute so far. I didn't even know they were planning a broadcast dub for this but I'll definitely watch since Tyler Walker is going to be directing it.

I like Alexis Tipton, but she seems slightly out of place to me as Yoko. Having said that I'm pretty sure she'll still manage to pull it off.

Jeannie Tirado did pretty well as Zera in FT Zero and I loved her as Yume in Grimgar so that should be fun.

I've also definitely become a fan of Tabitha Ray as of late due to Fairy Tail and her great work as Hotaru in Dagashi Kashi.

Hopefully this should be a good one.

Glad to see that funimation is broadcast dubbing more shows now. They kinda went silent on broadcast dubs for this season till now, so I was beginning to worry that they are cutting down on broadcast dubs. Glad to see that isn't the case though.

He's done more than Fairy Tail. He directed both seasons of Is This A Zombie, Baccano, and a bunch of other stuff. Most Recently he directed the dubs for World Break, Tokyo ESP, and Ninja Slayer.

But Funimation usually starts announcing broadcast dubs around the midpoint of the season.

IMO next to Mike McFarland, Tyler is probably the best director working at Funi, he always seems to match everyone with great roles and he constantly tries out new actors.

People like Tabitha Ray got there start with him, he even goes out to ask actors who else he should bring in. He's the guy that brought Micheal form Rooster Teeth into a major Anime role.

Heck the latest set of Fairy Tail has hi using two Anime related Youtubers in major roles in the Sun Village Arc.

Yay! One of my favorite slice-of-life anime is getting dubbed! I don't know anyone except Alexis Tipton, but I don't like Futaba's Japanese voice, so if the dub can make Futaba sound tolerable, that'll be good for me.

Speaking of broadcast dubs...when are Show By Rock and Snow White with the Red Hair gonna get released on DVD?!

Show By Rock has a date sometime this summer and since all the other shows that were Broadcast dubbed around the same time as it(BloodBlockade Battlefront, AssClass season 1 Part 1, etc) are releasing over this summer probably soon.

Not sure about Snow White thought, but probably not for a while longer cause i don't know if it's even all out yet in Japan.

Amazon UK lists SbR with an Aug 8th release date. Funi's Aug releases don't include the show, so maybe September. first half of Snow White will probably be winter of next year

Even though it's a bit of a niche show, I think there is an audience for a dub of this show. Ultimate Otaku Teacher, Sky Wizards Academy and this season's Endride? Not so sure.

I have seen the first ep of the dub and it's... okay. It's competently made. Nothing majorly bad I have to say, nothing majorly good to say either. I would say the Japanese is better in terms of comedic timing but it's not a Penguindrum sort of situation where I would urge people to watch it in Japanese.

I was surprised to see they are dubbing this show as it didn't seem like there were that many people watching; there does not even appear to be a discussion thread for this show. Personally, I have been enjoying this show (unfortunately the FUNimation site packed up last night before I could watch episode 7). The subtitles have been really kludgy though; I hope they fix them if this gets a physical release.
