On paper, I think the designs looks good. Just hoping that it will be decent quality when animated, especially the action scenes..

So this officially confirms that not only the blackswordsman arc but also the entire conviction arc will be animated...it is about bloody time we get something past the prolouge arc.
cant wait to see this  .

The CG sticks out like a sore thumb. And the color schemes on those armors are repulsive.

I just hope they don't tone it down at all for the blu ray release. Manga obviously has lots of nudity, gore, and violence, and I'm going to be furious if I have to deal with steam, light beams, cover crows, or black smears when I'm enjoying my demonic murder fantasy.

Sorry not in this adaptation..she appears after the conviction arc...which is where this series will most likely adapt.

Aren't these colours based on the ones used in the colour pages of the Manga volumes?

Those clearly CG models, so unless I see them moving, rather than stills, I can't assess how well they blend
