This is the first time that I've read that a visual novel will have a debut in the U.S. before Japan would; I wonder why that's the case. Perhaps Key thought the target demographic in Japan was just too small for Harmonia?

Considering the Key kinetic novel Planetarian, not having Maeda doing the scenario can sometimes be a blessing.

Hinoue > Maeda

(I like Jun's work but IMO Hinoue's style is just more iconic)

Things like this are why I still bother to keep a Windows computer around.

I keep a Windows PC around because over 90% of all games are releasing on PC now days, among games like this.

In other news, last weekend VisualArts confirmed that Rewrite+ is getting localized at some point.

What are you even.

Hinoue is no writer. She's an illustrator who do character design. It just doesn't make sense that you would compare a scenario writer with an illustrator.

Oh, and I heard that the translation will be done by Key VisualArt's in-house team, so I'm not quite sure about the translation quality. (Remember about the translation quality of Alice in Heart which was done in-house)
And it's understandable that they would revise the sound quality. The latest HOLY BREAKER! (although it being not produced by Key, but the main staffs are from Key and it's supported by VisualArt's) sound quality was horrible.

Rewrite was great even though technically he did work on some of the music he didn't contribute to the story thankfully.

I found that Rewrite was lacking with character depth that I felt was in their previous works, going all the back to ONE.
