So are these girls pilots of those giant robots or are the robots sentient beings with the girls being just caught up in their squabbles? I kind of hope it's not the latter.

Will probably give this a try just for the 2D mecha animation, though a combination of the director's previous credits and the fact that the first and second PVs used the same bits of animation for the mechas makes me wary.

I smell a whole lot of delicious yuri Mmmm can't wait. Besides that this actually looks pretty good, the mechs are very well designed.

I think Regalia has some huge potential of featuring a yuri moment or two, judging from the cast. Smile

I am so hyped for this. Like everyone else here, I am expecting some yuri from this. Smile

If it has its own version of Tusk from out of nowhere, then it will be a Cross Ange thingy. Let us hope this will NOT be Cross Ange 2.0.

Regalia is one of my most anticipated shows of the summer 2016 season especially since for once there's no male lead in a Mecha themed Anime not to mention the possibility of a Yuri theme going on. Very Happy

THIS! Tusk traumatized me, so I'd be grateful if there weren't a Tusk in this.

I'm planning to watch it in full soon, but Asura Cryin' (where he worked as an episode director while Keizo Kusakawa was the series director) has a sentient robot being that possess the ghost main heroine's soul inside when fighting along with Tomoharu (the series' protagonist) from what I've seen bits of it. I can't imagine being too bad as people believe and it isn't popular when it was airing 7 years ago despite having the necessary ingredients to make it so.
