I guess I'm the only one nostalgia doesn't effect when it comes to Dbz, seems like a rehash of a previous plot line.

I haven't really been paying that much attention to Dragon Ball Z but I noticed something about Trunks, didn't his hair used to be gray?

Trunks's hair color was always intended to be the same as Bulma's, which is purple in the manga. Whether the hair color of the present Trunks will be changed or not might be shown soon.
