I remember a hint about this getting an anime project recently. Glad to see it becoming a reality.

I've seen this guy's face around! I'd love to see the new anime. Lately, remakes of pre-2000s anime/manga have been very good. Ushio and Tora, Hunter x Hunter, JoJo, Osomatsu-san, Parasyte, and even Berserk have been nothing but good to me. Maybe I'm in for a tough dose of reality, but hopefully, this won't be it.

Ryoutsu is back for the new deals? Wowzers.
Ok, now give it back to the Sunrise/BNP and Gintama staff.

Uh, no, it's a Shueisha property. Gallop just made the anime series from the 1990s. They can choose any studio want to make it.

Oh, I forgot about the studio and thought it was the Sunrise. But the director of the anime was Shinji Takamatsu, the director of Gintama and School Rumble.

Interesting. I wonder if Shueisha will commission the animation production over to Studio Gallop again or to another studio.

If you are fluent in Japanese, this series is a perfect way to understand Japanese pop culture at the time it was originally published, especially in the use of consumer electronics, too.

I would love a full series remake of bastard!!, especially since viz didn't finish releasing it here.

Never read or seen any of kochikame, but I've definitely heard of it. If this does become a full series I'll have to check it out for curiosity if nothing else.
