Based VIZ. It's unlikely, but I hope it will be a Jojonium-like release again.

This is really exciting news. I've been watching Diamond is Unbreakable, and have been enjoying immensely. And so far I have all the hardcover copies Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, so this will just be another great add on after I finish with Stardust Crusaders.

Great news, whilst Part 4 was the weakest of the 8 for me it's fab to see Viz continue to release the series.

My hopes for an eventual Stone Ocean release isn't too unrealistic if this keeps up.

the Jojonium stopped at Part 3 in Japan for some reason,so this is probably just the normal edition of the manga.

I know, that's why I said it's unlikely. It probably wasn't that popular in Japan because of this. Fortunately VIZ didn't color the pages for their release.

Really? I put Diamond is Unbreakable in my top three, along side Battle Tendency and Steel Ball Run.

Still, I hope for the same. I want to see all eight parts released, and maybe even have JJBA join Viz' Weekly Shonen Jump as a monthly addition like some other books once they catch up.

Just about a month people in another threat told me to shut up when I said this needs to happen and said it won't happen because part 4 isn't popular enough and it hasn't even finished airing or some shit. And now it's happening. So I'm glad Jojo won and y'all pessimists lost.

Or they might possibly release Part 4 as 3-in-1 collections like they've done with other series. Being an older series with so many volumes unreleased in english, it'd be more beneficial to everyone if they continue to release it in larger chunks rather than one volume at a time.

Viz Media at this point might as well just have my pin number and be done with it!

Viz always seem to know when one of their properties is gonna get a new anime in the works or stuff like that months before they license it (obviously the people in Japan tell them, e.g. 'Oh you are intrested in (insert) manga, it's gonna get an anime in fall 2016', so I'm pretty sure they know that there will be a Jojonium release of part 4 at some point..

If there's not, I would think they would either release part 4 in 2-in-1 volumes (these have been released in Japan like this too), but I just don't see part 4 being released in the old tankoubon format.

Hopefully we get a Jojonium release for part 4 too, and Viz not revealing a release date makes me thing this is the case, they're probably waiting for the Japanese Jojonium release.

Part 4 was released during the time it was shonen but it's more bloody then the rest of the titles.

Well the owners of VIZ media, Shueisha and Shogakukan as the publishing companies of a large proportion of manga in Japan, would have staff on the production committees for their anime, so of course VIZ would be given the heads-up about these things.

I had no idea JoJonium had stopped at "Stardust Crusaders," that's kinda disappointing. Especially since Viz's hardcover releases of the first two arcs have been really beautiful-- high quality covers, colored inserts, nice paper, and everything.

I'd be down for omnibus editions of everything after that. I prefer omnibuses and trade paperbacks/hardcovers of comics, period, since it's just easier. (And I'm lazy.)

I suspect the 'hush hush' tone Viz have taken with what format and release date (well, it's obviously going to be 2018 at the soonest) we get to see DIU is because Shueisha might be commissioning a second wave of Jojoniums. It would seem daft to just leave it at three parts when they where huge sellers globally.

And yes, they are [expletive] beautiful books.

If Part 3's 10 JoJonium volumes will be released every 3 months, similar to Part 1 & 2's release schedule, we'll be seeing Part 4 sometime in 2019 (probably May since the last JoJonium volume for Part 3 releases in February 2019).
