I'm guessing they wanted the Christmas OAD for December to match the season. Shame they cancelled the pre orders

Since Kodansha brought the Attack on Titan OADs over, it'd be nice if they could do that for Fairy Tail too.

I really wish Funi would dub and release the OADs. As it will be a while before the next series, we would something to watch besides their quarterly boxset releases.

The ADR Engineer for Fairy Tail, Kyle Philips, did an AMA on reddit about a year back and was asked about dubbing the OVA's and he said they wanted too and are still trying to get the rights.

I guess it's just one of those things they can't get their hands on no matter how hard they try. OVA's always have weird licensing rights.

For example I've heard there's a One Piece special where the rights are actually owned by a Resturant company.
