Is this the second release of C-Control? That title brings me back. It was one of the first simulstreams Funimation did!

The English release of the Re:Zero novels will take four years to catch up with the anime's current arc? Seriously? That's a bummer. Well, we're getting the manga, too, maybe that will move faster.

Did Kodansha release nothing in manga this week?

Edited to add: Amazon says Noragami volume 16 was released today. Said volume's current status is In Stock.

Plastic Memories, "Volume 1" for $90... But the series is only 13 episodes... Aniplex, what are you doing? I want to own the series, but that that's just completely absurd!

I got Plastic Memories Volume 1 today, thanks to preordering. Holding it in my hands, I wasn't thinking of the story, or the characters, or how I can now watch it again as many times as I want. I was thinking "you just got ripped off".

It's the paper "box" that did it, I think. If they'd at least use chipboard for the boxes, it wouldn't feel so cheap in your hands. It's like they're rubbing it in. It makes the Funimation releases with chipboards feel like luxury, and even makes the Sentai barebones releases at least feel honest.

I'll get PM vol. 2, I guess. But I won't be getting Charlotte, or High School Fleet, even though I really liked them both; and I probably won't even finish the Monogatari series either. Aniplex releases just aren't worth it anymore.

My preorder for Re:Zero LN 1 came in today and my preorder for first volume of the manga comes in next week. It's quickly become one of my favorite anime of all time and I'm trying to support the series in any way I can.

I hope the series does well enough that we'll get a second season in a year or so, don't want to wait too long to see what happens. Wonder who's going to get the rights to the physical release of the anime? Sure hope to god its not Aniplex...I don't want to spend hundreds to own Re:Zero. Hoping it's either Sentai or Crunchyroll.

They adapt the Light Novels and I believe the anime will finish with Volume 8 and Volume 9 is coming out in September in Japan. So it's going to be 2 years at least.

Decent week for me here. Horimiya, Love In Hell:Death Life, and My Monster Secret are all on the way to me.

Really looking forward to seeing what this 2nd Love In Hell series is going to be like. Really enjoyed the original, so I couldn't pass up on this 2nd one. I also wonder how long this one will be, as the original was 3 volumes. I'm assuming it may be longer.
