Awesome! I was hoping that the new Voltron would get a second season and thankfully it did and I sure as hell can't wait for it. Very Happy

Too bad the show still isn't available worldwide. It seems Dreamworks opted to leave it for third-party licensing just like their other properties, but since Voltron is not based on any popular cinematic franchise, TV stations aren't really interested. Which is sad, since the show's quality is MUCH higher than most of the stuff on children's TV.

They've posted the cast, what, three or four times now and still haven't fixed the Zarkon role listing? The jokes are getting old...

Anyway... Yay for more Voltron and another yay for not having to wait until 2017 for season 2.

Wow, they work fast.

If this was a Japanese production committee, the next season won't come for a couple years.

Lovely.

This was a surprise hit I am happy far surpassed all the skepticism. Hooray optimism! And after all the worldbuilding (or technically galaxybuilding) set up from the first season, many are highly anticipating what happens next, myself included. Perhaps a surprise return to Earth?

Also, as much as I'm glad they made him less the center of the universe in this series, I do hope Keith gets some more characterization this season. His sidelining was clever and albeit necessary, but at the same time don't completely forget about him.

Is this show good? If it is can someone tell me why and what's it about, I read the summary and all but I'm still not convinced Embarassed
(I keep thinking it'll be similar to Gurren Lagann)

Why have us try to explain it in more detail when you could just go watch the first episode and judge for yourself. Keep in mind the first episode is 2 episodes squashed into 1 so the first episode is 50 minutes long where the rest is only 23 minutes long.

But yes it is similar to Gurren Lagaan but without the Fan Service and a different story style about 5 Lions combining into a powerful Mecha verse a Big Robot and a Small robot coming together to become s unstoppable force.

Wasn't expecting this to come out so soon. Hope there's more plot in season 2.

Love this show and super glad season 2 is coming sooner than later. I hope they can clarify more information about Shiro's spoiler[arm and how the villian was the former Black Palidan], give Hunk, Pidge, and Keith more character depth, and make Lance less annoying for the future episodes. Allura's been one of my favorite characters so I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

Also I wished the article mentioned the legendary Cree Summers is also in the series; she's been doing a fantastic job.

So what's the appeal? I watched an episode and it seemed way too kiddy with the corny jokes and 'humor'. Definitely not for me.

THIS MADE MY YEAR! I am so DAMN happy Twisted Evil. I was getting really worried Netflix wouldn't realize the diamond in the rough they stumbled upon with Voltron. I hope we get to see more depth from the villains and this time hopefully the season won't end so "short."

They made the new series different compared to the past version on the series where the young adults where more mature like... But they focused the series for Kids today... so the Young adults in this series are a little less mature... But if you can work past the snarky remarks and the constant humorous jokes like Lance does... the series is still good to watch for the story.

Looking forward to some great shows airing late 2016. Voltron, Samurai Jack, Rick and Morty, Justice League Action, and Drifters, in particular.

My faith in humanity is restored!

I finished watching the first season about a week ago and I felt bereft. I wanted more, specially with that cliffhanger. This is very good news indeed.

If you liked Avatar The Last Airbender, I'm pretty sure you'll like this. It sorta feels like a Sci-Fi implementation of Avatar, with snippets of Korra. Yes, the humor is a little childish, but to be fair wasn't Avatar at the beginning?

Wait, was it? It's been like forever since I saw the original. Most I remember is the dark shit from Korra now.
