Interesting. The 'monsters' they were fighting were not Shadows from the previous games but were Personas (or spirits) much more like a traditional MegaTen game. I wonder if that is a placeholder, or if they are switching it up. Or if this is a Persona game in name only...

I assume you haven't seen anything before these videos. Yes, they're fighting Personas/Demons again. They're also bringing back the negotiations from the other Shin Megumi games.

You are correct. I have not been following the news, I was trying to go into the game clean. It's probably a good thing the fish game line caught my eye.

Oh well, the other SMT games are still good, so I will probably give it a try anyway.

You do realize that the first two Persona games use demons (and have negotiation)?
