God damn Joker Game! Shocked

That's easily one of the best first week performances I've seen from a Spring 2016 show. I only quickly glanced the previous charts with Spring 2016 shows on them, so maybe I'm wrong, but isn't that the second best first week performance of a show's first volume for the season, only behind Macross Delta? Very Happy

The war between Osomatsu and Monogatari is back with Monogatari domination this time. Osomatsu now leads 3-2.

Seems about right for what Thunderbolt is. And that was the end of DRRR!! You had a good run and went out with a bang.

I really miss when Gintama was done by Sunrise.... It used to sell 10k+ for the DVD alone on the first week..
now DVD and BD combined sell 6k
Also glad to see that Showa Rakugo at-least sold more than 1k

Gintama is still done by the same exact people! The only thing that changed is that the family oriented section of Sunrise now is called Bandai Namco Pictures.
They even done a joke in the anime about that!

Wow, I definitely didn't expect to see those numbers on Joker Game. It looked like the kind of unappreciated show that sells 1k at most. Glad that's not the case, it was a pretty good one.

Yeah I already know that.
I just believe that the name "Sunrise" sells more (if that makes any sense xD)

Keep in mind though that it will only have 2volumes so the sells are 3x bigger then they would be normaly due that.

Since first volume Osomatsu-san has lost 80'000 buyers. That must be world record!

Is the price the same as your regular 2 episodes BD, though?

It actually has those 2 BD boxes and 4 DVD singles. That's not a definitive statement you can make because it didn't release in that format, so it is just as likely that it would have sold around 8k for the first volume.

Very thrilled that Kizumonogatari is performing fantastically well! Smile A tad disheartening that Schwarzes Marken had a terrible start.

It'll probably sell at least another 10k or so - all of its volumes have had strong second and third week sales (the previous volume's first week sales were about 37k and after a few more weeks it's currently up to about 48k). And yeah, that is a steep drop, but not unprecedented when high-demand event tickets are involved. The last series before Osomatsu with a first volume that sold over 100k was Love Live season 2, which also had a coveted event ticket, and the gap between the best and worst-selling volumes of that series ended up being about 66,000 (116k for v1 down to 50k for v5).

It's also probably not 80,000 buyers that dropped off, because hardcore fans of a show or its performers are well known to buy multiple copies of discs that have an event ticket they want, trying to improve their chances of winning the lottery drawing to get one.
