^ What needs to be fixed?

I am curious about why the first volumes of Tokyo Ghoul and One Punch Man are selling so much after being out for a year.
Did something happen recently to get a lot of new people interested in them?

I'm happy to see Prison School on the list. Is this the first time it's been on it? I don't recall.

I thought it wasn't doing too well because of the age rating and that it had to be shrinkwrapped.

Wow, Haikyu actually went up! Glad to see it's doing well. Sad I don't see a similar response to Yona of the Dawn :/ although the first volume is a bit slow, so maybe later ones with action/development will fare better.

First volumes will do well simply because they start the story, so people who only recently watch the anime or hear about the series will buy that volume first. I don't think many people will impulsively purchase volume 6, and some people won't like volume 1 so they don't buy any more. Particularly for the series that are really starting to garner a lot of news and coverage, where Tokyo Ghoul and One Punch Man are still hot topics, it's better for bigger stores to stock more copies of the 1st volume than the 6th volume, and smaller bookstores or other types of stores (hobby shops, comic book shops, gaming shops) are also more likely to order copies of the 1st volume than any others.

Yona's release date is August 2nd, so hopefully it'll appear in the next list along with the 2nd Haikyu volume. (Yona volume 1 is also 54% off right now on Amazon, hopefully more people will take advantage while it's at that price)

Ahh, I didn't look at the dates for this report, thanks for the clarification!

The TV exposure bump - that's why publishers want to get on TV; it does have an effect

Speaking of OP-M, the dub voice of Genos is actually in the character's age range. Zach Aguilar just graduated high school and is among the youngest VA employed by BangZoom!
