well i can get nakoruu since she is the most popular female character in the samurai showdown franchise, though what would have gotten people really interested instead is that they do a tekken and had characters from the street fighter series as team another world instead.

In case anyone is interested, SNK officially released the voice cast for the game.
https://www.twitter.com/SNKPofficial/status/764024250894196737 LOTS of veterans being replaced. For those not familiar with the series, this is a pretty big deal. A lot of these characters have been voiced by the same actors well over 20 years, so for them to finally change it up is sad but expected and understandable. A couple veterans are still around though. |

For the team Another World thing, I think they wanted to stick the IP's they (SNK) own because they wouldn't need to shell out so much money for characters they own as opposed to chracters from say, SF or Tekken. Then again, what would I kmow? I know nothing of how licensing works.
As for the new voices, I was never attached to them considering I haven't played KOF for long enough. That said, I think some of the new voice actors did a great job. I actually love the new Terry Bogard voice and Yuri's voice actress (was it Ai Kakuma? I forget) sounds super duper cute, she's so perfect for the role! |
