Man, I'd like to see another PaRappa game nowadays. But they'd have to give it like 40 songs in order for it to keep up with the sheer size of modern games. Having just 6 to 10 songs won't cut it anymore unless it's a downloadable game or something, and people will then clamor for DLC. Consider that Nintendo's answer, the Rhythm Heaven games, always have that many songs with vocals in them AND at least 48 stages, the franchise hasn't really aged well in length, though I'm sure it's just fine in gameplay.
That's the same voice for Chop Chop Master Onion as always, isn't it? I remember this guy who calls himself RYU not only voiced Chop Chop Master Onion in both English and Japanese, he wrote the lyrics for all three games. |
