Hmmmm...I predict a complex & deep story that will be the most thoughtful allegory for nuclear war & Japan's current political situation ever animated. It will be about Godzilla eating little girls.

I have ZERO interest in Godzilla and have never seen it, King Kong, or any other big Monster Movie.
... And I'm going to watch this as soon as possible because Gen Urobuchi-sama is going to be writing it! OH MY GOD! I can't wait! |

Wonder if Netflix will be able to license this as well. Considering it's Polygon and there's already inbuilt popularity with the product being Godzilla.

Curious about what kind of design they'll use for him. I think the important thing will actually be making him scary. He might have been scary for the '54 audience, but I doubt he's ever been as terrifying since.

Well Blassreiter was okay and if Gargantia is any indication it'll at least look pretty, but unlike Anno (who I know makes good stuff consistently) I am far from confident this will work.
You are missing out on life, monster movies are a way of it.

Just being honest, when I first saw the headline I envisioned the fairies replaced by twin kyubeys. I thought we wanted an evangelionXgodzilla crossover but I guess it would be funnier to get madoka. |

Gen Urobuchi also wrote Kamen Rider Gaim. It would be funny if we got Godzilla related merchandise for Kamen Rider Gaim to promote the film since Bandai owns both franchises.
