How does Nintendo plan to counter mobile, specifically Samsung? Release their own Galaxy product.

It looks cool but I don't understand the point of Nintendo releasing a new model of the 3DS now when they're going to release a new hand held system next year.

Since I don't own a New Nintendo 3DS XL yet, I think I'll be gettin' this one. It'll go perfectly with Pokemon Sun & Moon Steelbook I'm gettin'.

Two things 1. The NX isn't a handheld at least not primarily from what we know. 2. Eventhough it's coming out next year they're not killing off the 3DS line for it. |

A Galaxy theme? And not a Super Mario Galaxy theme? (I know they're not on the 3DS, but I still think it was a missed opportunity.)
Don't forget that Nintendo still has at least one more killer app coming up for the 3DS in Pokémon Sun and Moon. |

I LOVE THIS and I'd buy, but it sounds at the moment like the NX will be a 3DS + a console so I'll wait and see what the new console actually is. Hopefully they don't really plan on running 3DS games alongside the NX if the NX has its mobile functions too. What would be the point in having 2 "handhelds", especially if one will be much better than the other, not sure which would be better in terms of battery life or graphics either.

the NX will certainly be better graphically regardless of the rumours (which put it at 720) as the 3ds is like 380p-ish |

1) I want this. Finally the purple color I wanted when the New version came out.
2) I will buy this. 3) Ugh, transferring data is a pain in the neck and I hated doing it the last time. 4) Okay, I'm not buying this.
