Meh. If they're gonna film in Europe, anyway, just hire Caucasian actors and redub the film in Japanese.

uh... "hype"? Pretty sure that's good enough. Of course if it's really not "hype" yer feeling, then you could just stick with "hopeful" instead. Either way, the movie sounds interesting at worst and promising at best. I mean, the ruroni kenshin movie turned out pretty decent. But it did feel like it was 5-10 yrs behind what we see in american box offices. :/ Hopefully what they said about japanese film techniques advancing holds true and it'll turn out better than expected. |

A lot of Asian actors for a movie that basically takes place in Europe, This kills it for me where FMA takes place is important to the series and if the writer of the series wanted Asian main characters then she would have had it take place in Asia. Some stories you get by with changing the setting and race like with sci-fi stories. but this isn't one. In high fantasy stories like these details are the most important to get right.
