Consider it is THE most profitable new anime franchise (in terms of BD/DVD sales and merchandises) of 2015, there is no doubt he would be interested of making more.

They'd be NUTS not to do a second season. The BD/DVD sales were astronomical. And they'd better announce it soon. A year (or half) from now and people won't care.

This isn't just about money. A crappy 'sophomore slump'-type follow-up can hurt the brand.

Yes. It certainly did more than well enough to earn a second season.
Yes, I'd really love to see a second season, because I really liked the first season.

Coming up with enough crazy ideas to sustain a second season might be the stumbling block. It'd be better to have no second season, than a second season of the same old ideas repeated over again or routines which fall flat.

A big problem with comedies is you can only write so many original jokes, so you either have to have a story to fall back on, or repeat the same jokes and scenario over and over again. I think Osomatsu has room for another season, but after that it may be a bit tricky.

Goddamn it just announce the second season already and give the release date later when the director is free again. I don't want the franchise to repeat the same mistake Durarara did.

If you want to trashtalk the anime then this isn't exactly the right thread.

I would love another season of Mr. Osomatsu, but I would also like the first season Blu-Ray released overseas at one point. Please don't make me add this title to my list of things that have yet to be brought over.

Nichijou...Kemono no Soja...Squid Girl Season 2...

I've pretty much given up on Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Carnival Phantasm. Sometimes you just gotta cut the cord.

You are aware that the first episode is not a representation of the show, and is in fact a joke at modernising older titles.

Well, technically nobody can watch the 1st episode in full anymore. Legally at least.
