> The Akiba's Trip games take place in a reproduction of Tokyo's Akihabara district, where the player must fight vampires by tearing off their clothes and exposing them to the sunlight.

Oh boy lol

I heard about this franchise before but that premise sounds silly.

I'm hyped at this announcement, but I'm still waiting for Fairy Fencer F to get an anime. That is currently my #1 game to anime wish right now.

I thought this game would make a decent anime with its goofy premise. Hopefully it turns out well.

So the first game then. Never played that one so it will be good to see the stuff that happened before AS2.

I recently only heard of this game this year from playthroughs via Youtube. I have to agree with a few others here, that hopefully the anime will come out decent.

Since it is written as Akiba's'trip inthe material, one would think with the premise, that it should be read as Akiba Strip Smile

Oh interesting. Heard about this game and sounded right up my alley but didn't have a console (that worked) so could not play it.

Super excited to see what it's gonna be like, expecting it to be a lot of fun.

I am curious to find out if the female vampires will do the 'kyah I'm naked' scream or the 'that hurts like hell' scream from being burnt by the sun. Either way, the premise is as ridonkulous as it gets.

The game was pretty fun, but depending on how they execute the anime I might not watch it...there's really two ways they could go about this:

1. Similar to the game they make it more of a mechanic to defeat monsters. They just happen to be stripping clothes
2. All out fan service assault with the potential to be completely tasteless and plotless

I think it's obvious which one I favor...though I'm glad that there's enough demand for it to be adapted into anime in the first place. I was really excited to run around Akiba since they did a pretty good job recreating it in a game environment.

Ok first of all, Akiba's Trip getting an anime is really exciting. But Gonzo of all people is actually doing another anime??

I'm worried because it's studio Gonzo, I still haven't forgiven them over Chrono Crusade, Gantz, and Black cat animes

Who will license it in English, and will Brina Palencia reprise Shizuku if there's a dub?

It would be nice to see this as a simulcast. Given that Gonzo has had financial/business problems in recent years, it would be nice for them to make a comeback. Another is that they are responsible for producing the 1st 2 legal simulcasts back in 4/2008.
