Granted, I do not know much about these things, but don't CG films have a bad reputation in regard to plot lines and such?

Don't know but the previous two Resident Evil movies have been pretty decent.

I'll take the CG movies over the middle finger that is the live-action movies (and if the spoiler leaks are true about the final film, then forget middle finger. The movie is tripping RE fans to the ground and kicking them relentlessly). They're not great but still kind of fun. Besides it's nice to see Rebecca again since the games seem to want to forget she exists (unless that was her in that brief image in what we've seen of RE 7), and more Leon is always cool (Chris is.......eh).

Were the first 2 not considered full-length films?

Well, isn't this interesting?
An actual Resident Evil movie that'll cover the first game. It alright seems more watchable than the live-actions movies.

You can stop doing these anime ads for things now Japan and treating your animation industry like that's all it can ever be good for. They don't really seem to greatly boost sales and they've all been pretty terrible to mediocre at best so far.

So Degeneration and Damnation don't count as full-length films?

Probably a mistake by the article or Capcpom themselves... lol!
This is the 3rd one. Maybe they mean the first to feature Chris?

Better than having Alice as the star who doesn't even exist in the RE real story.

The movie and the game is far similar and its a good thing.. Just think of it as the other side of the game..
