As someone that has played the heck out of PM1 and PM2 already I am insanely excited for the later entries to get translated! I've been waiting years for this! Really, I personally don't approve of the "upgraded" graphics, or at least how they redrew the daughter, but still I'm excited for the future releases.

My sisters and I used to play the heck out of this game. Most memorable was when Middle Sister was trying to raise her daughter to be a dominatrix, but overshot and got Devil Queen.

It's a shame the localization looks only "okay-ish."

I was pretty obsessed with this game in my late teens early 20s so I am excited. I played this game so much. I would to see some of the later games also, so fingers crossed, maybe?

I've been really disappointed with the demise of SLG in recent years, so I'll definitely get this to relive the magic of Princess Maker, one of the SLG stalwarts of the 90's.

Oh god, PM2 was one of my favorite DOS games. Well, that news is certainly peak my interest.

This is absolutely amazing..!!!!!!!! I've put SOOO many hours into this game's abandon- ware translation to the point that I purchased a copy of the Japanese version that I keep sealed. This is seriously one of my favorite older life-sim, make-your-own-adventure-ish games.
I hope it sells really well so we can get the other games as well. The fan-trans of PM5 is only partial and playing that in Japanese-only would be sooooo hard.
Fun fact: I also have a Princess Maker poster on my wall. So yeah, I'm having a lovely fan-girl of the series time with this news.

Quote: | The games inspired the Petite Princess Yucie manga and 26-episode TV anime in 2002. |
(Johnny Carson voice: ) I did not know that.
But as one who liked ADV's pre-Bubble series, it does explain a lot of the series concept.

What I've seen of the new translation is passable at best, but given that the original DOS version was one of my favorite PC games ever. I think I should still enjoy this game immensely.

Well this is overdue. I'm glad to see this highly influential game legally available in English.

Oh i remember this game. I once saw some of the game's endings and they were funny.
In one ending, the Princess grows up to be a nun....and married a knight.
In another ending, she becomes the Prime Minister and marries the Crown Prince.
