Story doesn't sound interesting, but the manga looks like a classical story and is running in a Josei magazin, so I'm a bit interested. LN-based alternative world fantasy stories seem to bore or even annoy me without fail, and I'm not a fan of shounen fantasy either.
So I hope this will be a change of pace, or at least a well-executed classic story like Shirayukihime, instead of a fantasy reverse harem with generic male characters like Akatsuki no Yona. Edit: Oh, it's only an OAD. Kinda misread the title and though it was a TV anime. |

Original anime? Does that mean an original story but with the same characters? This is throwing me off.

^ I was wondering about that too. Typically an original anime is not adapted from anything.
Also, is the paragraph that starts with "The alternate-world story " a description of the manga? Or is it saying that the anime is in an alternate world to the manga? |

I assume it will be comparable to The Ancient Magus Bride which is getting OVAs with content not present in the manga. |

With that many volumes so far, forget about making an OVA/OAD. That is enough for at least 2 24-26 episode TV seasons. Also, you could get more fans by adapting as a TV show.
