Ok I'm cool with the grass and fire starters (for now anyways) but wtf is up with the water starter? It's 2nd stage is basically some "cute" seal wearing a dress.....what a ridiculous design. The final forms better be worth it.

You haven't been reading the leaks have you? It's final form is supposed to essentially be akin to a mermaid. As for ridiculous design it's pokemon half the designs of the pokemon are going to be WTF. |

There will likely be a demo that you can DL through the e-Shop. There was one for the new R/S version before that game came out, and you could import the Pokémon (Glalie?) to your copy of R/S.

I like them! I just wish Litten wasn't the worst starter that I've ever seen. It needs to get an awesome final form to even be on my radar. The wrestler leak though is just appalling. I love Popplio and Rowlett's though!

I'm quite impressed by the starters' middle Evolution designs.
 It's a bit sad that Brionne is getting serious heat for its feminine appearance...
I'm thrilled that Mega Evolution is back. Ironically, however, its use has been banned for the latest official Pokémon Tournament. |

It's exactly as the trailer says, you get him in the demo (october 18th) and you can then transfer him to the full game once you get that (november 18th). If you played ORAS and it's demo it's the exact same process as the Glalie. |

Popplio gets more and more maligned by the week. I love it! It means I'm certain to pick Popplio as my starter! Just you wait until Popplio's final evolution turns out to be more useful than Litten's or Rowlet's. All of a sudden, the rare Popplios will be tradable for anything else over the GTS, even Legendary Pokémon.
And yet Glaceon gets a ton of love FOR its feminine appearance, even though like the starters, Eevee has a 7-to-1 male-to-female ratio. |
