That's pretty much exactly right though.

The artwork of the tarot cards look great, but I would personally get bored with owning them after some time...

I wish they'd release a physical full set (all the major and minor arcana) of this. I got the old incomplete set and it's just most of the major arcana and the ace cards that showed up in the series. as someone who does tarot readings on occasion it's not all that handy to use if you want to actually use it. I have messed around with using it along with the Clow card set I have for a non-tarot form of cartomancy with some success tho.

I love unusual Tarot decks(I have the Gummi Bear deck, as an example), wish I had these! I think Trinity Blood had a Tarot set as well, or something. Anyone else know of anime decks? Not fan stuff, stuff that appeared in their show.

I have a Weiβ Kreuz deck that's actually a very nice one-- major arcana only but very useable. Nice art too (esp for a series whose animation was soooo dodgy). It's often proved to be highly and hilariously accurate. It's a tie-in rather than one used in the show, but it is official goods.
Yami no Matsuei (which I was just talking about in another thread, oddly enough) has a whole arc that ties tarot cards to murders on a cruise ship, but it's pretty much a standard Rider-Waite deck.
Escaflowne also had a series of trading cards that were tarot cards, but instead of being Hitomi's they were actually of the series characters. (I seem to recall that the Dragonslayers were Death. Brrr.) My wife got the full set at a con many years ago, but you can't really read with them because the backs reveal which cards are which. A problem that I just now realized could be solved with some CCG card sleeves. Oh, now I have to dig those up tonight.

I've gotta say,I'm not a big believer in tarot cards. They may be fun to play with but as for telling the future,at best,my future would be unclear to say the least.
