Anybody figure out what the issue was? Is there any way to compare the currently posted versions with the ones posted prior to the pull-down? I'm just curious if there's any differences.

There are ways to compare with "old" videos. But you'd have to go through some illegal methods such as illegal anime stream sites, or webrip torrents. And even then, for a series thats very convoluted and busy its tough to sit through with both videos looking for detail changes.
But i doubt there'd be any changes since the timeframe is too short to do anything in the animation department. |

And with no explanation whatsoever, of course. The amount of time was so short that I didn't even miss it though. I can only guess some rights dispute or something, that was, fortunately, short lived.

Depends on what the problem was. If it was just a matter of cleaning up an unauthorized trademark or two, all it would require is a couple hours with video editing software to modify or blur the offending parts. |

Totally this. Depending on the issue it would take more time to render the video than to edit it. |
