Maybe it might be a prelude to an actual Fate Grand Ordern full tv series. They might as well..they already covered the three main routes as well as the prequel and alternative universe of kaleid and the alternative universe of Extra on the way.

They actually didn't cover Fate. They've only covered UBW and Heaven's Feel. Whatever the original anime was, it definitely wasn't a Fate adaption. It was a completely different thing. |

The original was a mix of the 3 routes and original stuff but it did exist mainly out of Fate. HF still hasn't been covered. Yes the movies are announced but they aren't released yet so that doesn't count. UBW got covered twice. |

I hope they do a full series. Actually, I don't know why they're bothering with Extra instead of doing something with GO. The story in Extra was pretty weak.
I don't really like the designs of the two masters. If Maaya Sakamoto is doing the theme then Joan of Arc should be there I'm guessing? At least, I think from the Fate/Extella material posted on ANN that she was the VA. I would prefer her being the main servant than one of the returning originals like Arthur.
Wow such denial. That was the Fate route and you know it. Them making some anime only changes and not just being 100% faithful doesn't change that. I get that the quality left a lot to be desired, but that doesn't mean it wasn't the Fate route. |

Not exactly a spoiler since this is something that's simply part of the base setting, but only one of those 2 characters is a Master :X and yes, you're correct, Sakamoto Maaya is Jeanne d'Arc's voice actor. |

In the year 2015, after decades of research, the Chaldea security organization has found success in their various Projects in the fields of thaumaturgy, with the achievements of the projects LAPLACE, FATE, SHIVA and TRISMEGISTUS, they were able to ensure the future of humanity. Somehow, all of that changed, the lenses of the Near-Future observatory SHIVA were no longer able to see the future beyond the year 2016, after revising the possible reasons behind this, they eventually pinned the cause of the irregularity in an event in the year 2004, in a once unseeable portion of a provincial city of Japan, that would lead to the death of Gaia and Humanity. To prevent this fate, they prepare to dispatch several members back in time, one of them is you. |

pretty sure the movies count, since they are alreayd in productio and all that, so there's not point to make a new tv series based on heavens feel or anything. andyep, deens' fate counts as the stay night series only; tho we also don't have an apocrypha anime, but going by popularity grand order wins. |
